Mitac is a new entry to the mobile phone market, and they have recently launched their first smartphone based on the latest Microsoft's Smartphone technology.

The 8380 supports triband (1900/1800/900Mhz) and GPRS high speed internet to allow you to access the Internet using the included applications like Internet Explorer, email client, and a MSN Messenger chat program. The phone is multimedia capable with its integrated digital camera and SD/MMC expansion slot for added storage. Mitac included a 32MB SD card with the phone! The MS Smart Phone 2002 operating system is feature packed as it includes Pocket IE, WAP 2.0 browsing, Pocket Outlook email client, Media Player for playing MP3's and videos, and also supports Java MIDP 2.0. All of these features are displayed on a beautiful 16-bit color TFT LCD display. And of of these functionality are powered by a powerful Intel Xscale 200Mhz processor and 16MB RAM for speed and reliability.
